This is the only event that the Club absolutely has to have each year in order to be a properly constituted England Athletics Affiliated Club, and because of this we need as many members as possible to attend.
Without a quadrate meeting each year, the Club would not be able to continue as we do now. Members would not get the reduced entry fees for races, we would not get the "Club Places" in the London Marathon, and it would cost us more to put on our 10k in June and the Cross Country in January.
The formal meeting usually lasts about an hour and this is where we review the last year, agree things like the level of Subs for the next year, and plan the main events for the coming year. We then have an "open forum" to talk about anything members want to discuss.
