Stadt Moers Cross Country Results

8th November 2015

We turned up for the second cross country race of the season in pouring rain, but it soon abated and the race was largely dry but a bit soggy underfoot. Tom improved on his position from last week to lead the club home in 11th place.

28th December 2014

It was a very cold crisp morning for the third cross country race of the season. The running was hard due to the ground being frozen, but in spite of this the combined ladies team came first and the mens came 5th.

Gill Another good turnout by WRR on a lovely winters morning in ideal running conditions. At 5.3 miles this was one of the longest courses in the league but at least we were spared the muddy conditions that prevailed last year.

Ten members overcame the rigours of the Christmas festivities to compete in this race. The course was a new one to Warrington Road Runners and felt like a true cross country race with lots of gentle ups and downs, plenty of mud and a foot wash at the end!
